The word consensus means conformity of feelings - from the Latin (“cum-sensus”; to feel with). The search of a consensus in mediation consists in reaching an agreement between people about a topic or a subject of discussion. The "common sense" can be reached by integrating the various viewpoints and opinions of each involved people, that is to say by pointing out one same way of perceiving what might - often at minima - arrange an agreement.
