Description

The Arbitration and Dispute Resolution Institute of the Oslo Chamber of Commerce is a body incorporated within the Oslo Chamber which deals with matters of arbitration and dispute resolution. This applies to national and international disputes within industry, commerce, shipping, offshore/onshore activities and other fields of business activity.

Arbitrators and mediators representing the Institute are found among the leading and most experienced commercial lawyers, judges and legal academics in Norway.

The Arbitration and Dispute Resolution Institute of the Oslo Chamber of Commerce is able to offer the following methods of dispute resolution: Arbitration, fast-track arbitration, mediation and mini-trial, and any combination of these. For parties who so wish, the Institute can act as the appointing authority and provide administrative assistance under the rules of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).

Oslo Chamber of Commerce is an independent service organization for the business community. It is the largest of 15 private law chambers of commerce in Norway.
